With an aim to disseminate timely information to the student community, “WESLEY TIMES” Newsletter started in the month of July 2008. The newsletter contains proposed schedules, college news, report of activities conducted.

PLACEMENT ACTIVITY
 
May-June’08
   
•
SIX SIGMA, an IT company conducted written tests and group discussions on the 18th of May, for both the M.B.A and M.C.A students. 10 each from both the streams have been selected
•
 CAPITAL IQ, a financial services firm conducted a written test on the 14th of June and 10 students of M.B.A have been selected
•
PLANET SOFT, a software company had conducted campus recruitment on the 5th of July, 20 of our M.C.A students were selected.
   
July- August ‘08
   
•
On July 25th 2008 BRIGADE software conducted interviews for Technical Support position.
•
 IDEA MOBILES on 8th August 2008.
 
•
IBM conducted interviews at our Campus on the 9th and 10th of August 2008 for the post of Assistant Manager (Finance and Accounting).
   
September ‘08

Students attended Interviews at Delloite, Wipro, Dell, GE, Bank of America, Knoah.
   
October ‘08
   
•
 On the 23rd of October MCA students attended interviews at UBS.
•
On the 24th October both MBA and MCA students attended interviews for the post of Technical Support at IBM.
•
On 17th November MCA students attended interviews at UBS and ORACLE INDIA for the posts of Technical Support and S/W Engineers.

COMMUNITY SERVICE WING  

Apart from imparting quality education, the college also encourages the students to take part in Community Programmes. A Community Service Wing has been established.
•
In the month of August ‘08, our Community Service Wing has contributed soaps, Toothpastes, Detergents and chocolates to the students of Wesley Boy’s Hostel.
•
In the month of October ‘08, refreshments were distributed to the street children in and around Paradise
•
In the month of December ‘08 members of the CSW visited the orphanage run by the “Missionaries of Charity” and donated sweaters and rice bags collected voluntarily from college students
•
The CSW visited the old aged home “Sandhya Nilayam” at Medak in the month of February ‘09 and donated rice bags and clothing.
