Under the efficient guidance of Prof. Dr. B. Vimal Sukumar, the
Division of Academic Affairs assists and supports the college
in providing quality education to the fullest range. Academic
Affairs staff works with the college and other units in the Office
and other educational segments, to identify educational needs
and accordingly meet the system-wise challenges.
Academic Affairs staff supports innovative responses that are
sensitive to the unique needs and strengths of each campus, by
working cooperatively with all its campus partners, the division
helps Wesley campus and students achieve their respective goals.
M.C.A. :

Alumni is followed as per the OU instructions.

Duration
of each semester is 15-16 weeks.
-
At the
end of 8 weeks, the first internal examinations are conducted.
-
Second
internal examination is conducted at the end of 15 weeks.
-
The
better of the two internal examinations marks is taken into
account.
-
Subject
wise Guest lectures are arranged from the University and Industry.
-
University

INDUCTION:
At the onset of each academic year Introduction
programme is conducted for the freshers of both departments
in the Auditorium. This special occasion is graced by The Chairman
& Correspondent, The Most Rt. Rev. B.P. Sugandhar, a few
clergy from the Diocese, and a Guest of Honour from the corporate
sector.

Seminars :
-
As part of the
University programme, we conducted a seminar for the business
management teachers on "Supply Chain Management" which
was held for 3 days in the College. Faculty from various colleges
participated in the seminar.

staff are encouraged to participate in different seminars conducted
by the University and other Institutes and Industry.

College also
conducts Staff Orientation Programmes on a regular basis.

Soft Skills
Recognizing the varied requirements of the students, the Management has organized Soft Skills Programme for the students.
Module 1 - concentrating on written and basic communication skills conducted by Mr. Sanjay, Lecturer in English.
Module 2 – concentrating on Personality Development, Etiquette etc is being conducted by Dr. Diana, Psychologist from USA. |
