Among the myriads of educational institutions established by the Church of South India, Medak Diocese, Wesley Post-Graduate College stands out, as an illustrious Academy for higher studies. Recognizing the need for professional studies, this college came into existence with effect from the academic year 1997-98. The college is fully accredited by the AICTE, New Delhi, and is affiliated to Osmania University.

The CSI, Medak Diocese also administers another hundred institutions an Engineering College, College of Education and a Medical College, besides a number of schools, Junior Colleges and Degree Colleges.

This illustrious college is situated in the heart of the city spread over 9-acre campus and adjoining a grand playground. The ground is used for conducting IT and Management Meets apart from the regular college happenings on a large scale. This college building consists of three floors . Each floor is self-contained with spacious and well-designed classrooms, not to overlap with the other departments. In addition to this, the college has two sophisticated laboratories, and a centalized library, a huge seminar/conference hall, an auditorium, thus providing professional ambience for academic pursuits.
